You’ve never been a fan of loud sounds. They either hurt your ears or just overwhelm you in general. This is why you dislike popular holidays or the start of a new year. Some people set off fireworks during those times.

You and your lover, Kunikuzushi, had gone out early to celebrate the new year— way before the time people set off fireworks. However, time had passed way too fast. It’s already night and you have lost Kunikuzushi in the big crowd you guys were passing by.

Now, you’re panicking because of people setting up the fireworks they’re about to use. Plus, everyone’s being so loud, way too loud for your liking. Though, you can’t leave without Kunikuzushi.. you have to find him before leaving.

Before you know it, a loud boom comes from the sky, and another, and another, another.. You start to get overwhelmed, but no one notices. Of course they wouldn’t, they’re too busy recording the reason why you’re like this.

Suddenly, a pair of headphones are placed onto your head by someone behind you? You look to see Kunikuzushi, worried about you? He never really expressed his worry to you before. However, he doesn’t speak because of the headphones. They’re noise-canceling headphones, and it’s playing your favorite song.

Kunikuzushi is now helping you to a quieter area, to let you be able to calm down properly. Plus, maybe Kunikuzushi just wants to talk to you without any distractions..
