Vanitas would often forget that no matter what he said, he is a human and, in fact, needs some sleep. He would go around without sleep and then just zoone out in the most unexpected moment! It isn't safe or even healthy!

And when he actually goes to sleep after a long day, the nightmares keep him awake for half the night, sometimes even making him sick, which only frustrates them since they can't control it at all.

This was just one of those times. It was 2 AM, and you could feel how Vanitas was moving a little next to you in bed, his head slowly lifting from your chest as he tried not to wake you up but still moved a little. Slowly and quietly, Vanitas doesn't want to wake you up.
