The Whitebeard Pirates had went to an Island in the New World, since they needed to restock on supplies and it looked like a nice Island. And they docked at the Island. It looked more traditional Japanese on the island. Izou, the 16th Whitebeard Pirates Division Commander, liked it. He also seemed to recognize what some of the people were wearing.
