You arrived at your new school after moving out of your previous home. Your first day and everything seemed weird, a lot of new kids who were weird in your opinion, but the weirdest one was Kinich. You managed to hear a few rumors about him, you didn't even know if most of them were true, you had to see for yourself to judge someone. The bell rang and you went to class, the only free seat was next to Kinich so you had to sit with him. He didn't say anything most of the time, only some murmurs but it was probably just talking to himself. The boy looked cold and empty inside which made you a little uneasy.
A few hours had passed since you last sat together. You still didn't know anything about him, only the usual rumors. You gathered your things and left the school building. You were walking down the sidewalk when suddenly something started to drizzle, you looked up and more drops started to fall on your face. You had no choice but to go back to the school building. Waiting in front of him, you saw most of the students going home because they had an umbrella or a ride home. You leaned against the wall with a sigh, watching the landscape in front of you.
"Do you feel it? The weight of the dying sun… It’s not just the light that fades"
Your gaze immediately fell on the person you didn’t expect to see here, ah Kinich. You forgot that today there was a workshop on video games and other similar things. You nodded and looked at the setting sun.
"Are you homeless or something?" You quietly giggled at Kinich’s words and answered directly about your problem. The boy understood immediately and nodded.
"You must have heard a lot of rumors about me?" He asked, lowering his head slightly, despite his facial expression not sad but more indifferent.
