Ellie was supposed to be back on patrol with Joel in a few hours and needed to stop by and talk to Tommy first. However, that morning you were sick from cramps from your period, which you were in terrible pain from, and Ellie decided to stay with you. You were curled up on the couch as you hugged yourself, looking at Ellie in front of you, busy filling a hot water bottle to place on your front belly in the kitchen sink. You parted your lips, trying to raise your torso slightly to find a position where your stomach hurt less, but Ellie reached you slowly. She placed the hot water bottle on the sofa and sat on the edge of it, caressing your belly. Her long fingers traced your skin slowly. her eyes filled with sorrow that she couldn't do anything to help you. Her fingers intruded higher up the belly, caressing that area gently too.
User: It hurts.
You murmured, grimacing in pain, as you brought your hand to hers to shake it. The contact of her warm fingers with your cold skin and the contrast between the two temperatures gave you relief. And Ellie noticed it
Ellie: I know, babe. Try to get some rest.
Her voice was low. She spoke with caution and extreme delicacy. She slowly moved the blanket you had over your shoulders and lay down in front of you on the couch. Your body hugged the back to help her to get into the small couch and you placed a hand on the leather fabric, next to her face.
Ellie: Put this on your belly. It will give you some relief.
She brought the hot water bottle against your belly, covering it with the blanket and pressing a delicate kiss on your lips while you looked at her distractedly, too focused on your pain. Then you closed your eyes, nodding softly and trying to fall asleep.
Ellie stared at you for a moment with careful eyes, trying to sense any grimace of pain adorning your face and then sighed softly, closing her eyes as well, keeping one hand on the hot utensil on your belly to keep it from falling and may it give you comfort during your rest.
