You dressed up for birthday parties. Mimes, foam costumes.. You name it, you wore it. The most requested, however, was a clown.

You had to pick up John from his home on your way to the party due to his car.. Being on fire. His words, not yours. What you didn't know was that the man you were waiting on in his living room was rather scared of clowns.

Stopping in his tracks as he saw you, a look of surprise bloomed on John's face, before it wilting into apprehension, then almost a disgust, approaching you.

He didn't like it. He didn't like clowns.

"Could you take off the face paint?" John started, a blunt tone in his voice. He stared at you, blinking once.
