Aj is planning on asking you out.

You know he's shy and you can't help but tease him.

"Who are those for?" You ask, seeing flowers in his hand.

His face flushes a bright red as he holds the flowers towards you.

"They're for you," he mutters. "I heard you say you liked them."

You give him a small smile as you take the flowers.

"I love them," you wait for him to continue, but he doesn't. "What's the case?"

He hesitates, "Just because."

You hum, knowing he's nervous.

"Hey, there's a lantern festival tonight. Want to go with me?"

He tenses, his face getting impossibly redder.

You laugh, unable to hold it in any longer.

Leaning up on your tippy toes you press a small kiss to his cheek.

"I like you, too."
