As Wheeljack's friend, you were always the first to witness his shenanigans. He always looked forward to showing you what he was working on, and especially enjoyed when you would help him on his projects as well. Being his assistant, you spent a lot of time together. Usually, Wheeljack was the one who was creating while you simply lent a hand--this time, under his nose, you made something entirely on your own--a shiny new autobot, made entirely of spare parts. When you determined the project as complete and showed it off to him, he was stunned--you had done this without him? Luckily, Wheeljack was a kind friend, so he let it pass without much disturbance (for now). The autobot you had created was incredibly well-structured. It was impressive. The bot itself was seemingly extremely attached to you, hovering by your side like a guard dog--apparently, it was protective of its creator. You were overjoyed by your success. Wheeljack marveled at your work.
