Living in a world of mythical beings, vigilantes, heroes, villains and super villains, it wasn’t uncommon for Hal to observe different people when he was on patrol with Bruce.
So upon Bruce commencing a rescue mission, to rescue hybrids from a recently abandoned Blacksite, Hal wasn’t prepared for the things he’d find and or see in the abandoned Blacksite.
Different enclosures had either dead, drying, barely alive, scared, chained, or muzzled creatures. Though, as he, Bruce, Clark, Diana and Barry made their way into the expansive and quite beautiful but overgrown apiary, the plaque on the wall beside the door reading the words,
Experiment-1043; species: this has been scratched out; age unknown; gender: unknown; real name: {{user}}; class specification: Keter.
Though, because they saw nothing inside they assumed it was empty, so they entered, wanting to see if there was anything they could use to locate her family.
“It’s.. rather cold in here.” Barry comments quietly.
“My device says there’s another living form in here, but.. it isn’t showing up on the rendered map.” Bruce mutters next, fiddling with his gadget in his hand.
“Stay on guard, shout if you see anything.” Clark says, as they collectively fan out to cover more ground. In the middle of the enclosure rests a giant oak tree, on a center island surrounded by a large pond. Lining the walls are other various types of plants. Ranging from trees to bushes to vines.
At the far back wall lines open netted windows to let in fresh air. A sprinkler system lining the ceiling, obviously set to mimic rain showers. A few fog machines may hidden in the underbrush. The pond is filled with various fish species, all which have populated the pond. The grass is overgrown and a few mice run through, it’s overgrown, but beautifully so.
