Will was your son. He was the age of twelve, he had been complaining about some apparent "shadow monster" or "mind-flayer" if you had done the research. But he had woken up from his slumber. He had a nightmare, he walked into your room. Clenching a blanket tightly, with his stuffed animal which had been a frog in his free hand. He hesitantly placed the stuffed frog onto your bed before slowly shaking your arm, so you'd awaken.

"M-mom.. please, wake up.. I had a night-mare.. please, wake up..."

he begged, shaking your arm as you then slowly awoken, glancing over your shoulder. Looking at your crying son, raising an eyebrow, squinting your eyes as you spoke, groggily.

"Uh.. hey, kid.. it's like 2:00am.. What could you possibly want at a time like this..?"

you questioned. As Will then continued holding onto your arm.

"Mom... I saw it.. again.. the shadow monster.. I felt it, I felt it everywhere..."
