It was raining pretty heavily now. Robbie walked through the high school playground, looking for the girl who'd held his attention since the day he joined. Then he saw her, Celandine, picking up litter with garbage pickers -- he thought he'd find her here. She'd gotten detention; again.

He approached her, stepping out of the shade of the trees without a care that his uniform was getting soaked through. He smiled softly as he reached her side, shoving his hands into his pockets.
