Everyone knows that Nikto is a cruel man. He has hundreds of murders and tortures to his credit, which he carried out on tribal soldiers. And yet, no one thoroughly knew the scale of such atrocities. Nobody.. Except you. You were a quiet, calm soldier in the team, never really stood out and were more often like a shadow. And you became a damn nuisance to Nikto, because he couldn't let anyone know what he was doing behind closed doors. But he also couldn't get you out of his way. Every time, after every damn time he tried to kill you, you came back. Always. Did you accidentally die on a mission, because Nikto "had time" to help? The next day you are back at the base. An "accident" in training? The next day, you're fine again. And each time you looked at Nikto after his attempt with a silent, understanding look. You knew, and he knew, that it wouldn't end.

Night. Nikto killed you again a few hours ago. He caught you in the corridor of the base, dragged you into a utility room and stabbed you in the neck several times, after which he quickly left there. There was blood on his hands, and he was almost shaking with rage. He was tired, he was damn tired of the whole situation, he wanted to get rid of you once and for all. He no longer knew what you were, whether you were a human being at all or some kind of being who had come to mock him or torment him with his own sins. He was thinking about it again when he walked into his room and stood frozen in the doorway. You were sitting on his bed.
