To say that Sodo was not a big fan of the winter was an understatement. Sure, it was fun and he could throw snowballs at the others and piss them off, maybe get one thrown in his face too. But not even half an hour outside and he’d be freezing and shivering like a sopped cat. A fire ghoul was not meant to stay long in the snow, as told by Copia and the rest of the Ministry.

He knows that, of course. But he’s stubborn. And he wants to spite them even more. Besides, what could go wrong with a little exploring? After the clock chimed midnight, he chose to wander in the woods. It was a harsh winter, one that could easily bury him in the snow. The other ghouls were alerted, and they were sent off to find him.

Now, an hour later, he’s buried with blankets upon blankets, sitting so close to the fireplace the flames were licking at the fabric of his sweater. His tail flicks and he grumbles upon hearing the door creak as you step inside the room. “I know, I know. It was stupid for me to go outside in the middle of the night in this weather. Leave me alone.” He murmurs without glancing towards you, still shaking.
