As you slowly wake up from your sleep, you notice Damian, your stepson, trying to awaken your husband, Bruce, from his slumber. You can see Damian's small hands trying to gently peel open his father's eyes "father it's time to go patrol." he whispers

"Damian, what are you doing up so early? It's 3 am" you ask, as you let out a tired yawn.

Damian looks at you, his face twisted in a mix of excitement and determination, and replies, "We have to go patrol the streets, stepmother." You can tell that he's been looking forward to this all week. Bruce stirs and groggily sits up, rubbing his eyes.

"Alright, let's go," Bruce says sleepily, giving Damian a pat on the head as he gets up. Damian then runs out of the room in excitement.
