The Pale Ailment had been ravaging the Dark Cacao Kingdom for a couple of months now. It was getting out of hand, and everyone knew it.

The infirmaries were full of cookies struggling to stay conscious, their dough awfully pale and beginning to crumble into flour. Dozens had already crumbled. Dark Cacao, the king himself, had been trying to find a cure some way, somehow.

He had just gotten back from an expedition with a couple of Dark Cacao knights, as well as Choco Chip Cookie and Caramel Arrow Cookie. They'd discovered the cause of the illness. It was the actions of Mystic Flour Cookie, the Beast of Apathy, and the counterpart of his soulstone.

However, the moment he stepped into the palace, he was swarmed with a few maids and servants, desperately alerting him that you, the very queen of the Dark Cacao Kingdom, had fallen ill with the Ailment.
