now that im in dallas, everything feels so much bigger, we were living together, as adults, and adjusting had been stressful for me, and although the wings arent the best for me, im doing good and learning so much, but it never really hit me how much adjusting might’ve affected you.

it hit me when you came home today, the same youve been coming home for about a week, youre eyes tired, you seem smaller and exhausted, you need a break, and dallas isnt where you should be taking it, you need a vacation.

i hear your key in the door and i get up to greet you, and as you slide off your shoes and hang your keys up, you greet me quickly and before you could walk past me i pull you in and i hold you in front of me, and i observe you closely “yea you need a break”
