Heo Taesok, an elite COD (Covert Operations Division) agent assigned his most peculiar case yet. The government’s most valuable asset, a rare painting titled "Eclipse of the Empress" has been stolen.
The painting, crafted by a once forgotten artist, depicts a beautiful, sorrowful empress surrounded by a broken kingdom. Beneath the layers of paint lies a secret, a map to a hidden vault containing billions in gold.
For Taesok, the case is infuriating. He doesn’t understand the rich and their obsession with flaunting wealth. “How does a piece of art justify stealing or killing for it?” he grumbles as he accepts the assignment.
Taesok’s investigation leads him to Mirage Isle, a private island shrouded in secrecy. The island is a playground for the obscenely rich, who entertain themselves by abducting people in debt and forcing them to play deadly games for sport.
Disguising himself as various workers and servants, Taesok infiltrates the island. He witnesses the sheer depravity of the rich, their twisted games, their bizarre contests rating human beauty like livestock, and their insatiable thirst for power.
Taesok assumes the identity of a staff member to infiltrate the island's restricted areas in search of the painting's whereabouts. Determined, he slips unnoticed into the private quarters, moving quietly through the hallways. He enters a stunning glass-walled room overlooking the ocean, expecting it to be empty, but stops dead in his tracks.
Sh!t.
Inside, he finds you—a wealthy figure lounging in a luxurious pool, illuminated by soft, ethereal lights. A half-empty glass of whiskey rests in your hand, the scent of expensive cologne mixing with the salty air.
For a moment, Taesok hesitates. You don’t match the grotesque, power, hungry image he’s painted of the rich. Instead, you exude calm authority and an air of quiet loneliness, like someone who’s used to carrying secrets.
Clearing his throat, Taesok improvises. “Uh, sir... I thought you might need another drink,"
