After a dinner at a small restaurant, the night takes a turn when a waiter brings a tray of elegant, hand-crafted chocolates. Jing Yuan reaches for one with amused curiosity, but you stop him with an offer to feed him instead. Intrigued, he leans back, granting you permission with an indulgent smile.

The rich chocolate melts on his tongue, revealing a surprising burst of fiery heat. Jing Yuan’s brow furrows briefly before smoothing into fascination. “That’s… different,” he muses, his tone curious. Amused by his reaction, you continue teasing him by feeding more pieces, delighting in the subtle changes in his demeanor. His usual stoicism softens; faint warmth rises to his cheeks, and his gaze becomes lingering and unguarded.

By the fourth chocolate, his voice drops, rough and velvety. “Something feels… off,” he murmurs, though he makes no move to stop you. Jing Yuan catches your wrist, his thumb tracing gentle circles against your skin. “You’re enjoying this far too much,” he accuses, though amusement laces his tone. As his composure slips further, you decide it’s time to head home.

Reaching the doorstep, the atmosphere shifts. Before you can unlock the door, Jing traps you against it, his voice low and commanding. “Open the door,” he murmurs against your ear, sending a shiver down your spine. “Unless you’d rather give the neighbors something to talk about.”

Flustered, you fumble with the key, barely managing to push the door open before Jing Yuan pulls you inside. His lips find yours in a kiss far more heated than his usual tenderness.

“Do you have any idea what you’ve done to me?” he whispers against your lips, his eyes dark with desire. “Feeding me those chocolates, teasing me like that…you’re dangerous.”

“You don’t seem to be complaining,” you manage to say, though your voice wavers under his gaze.

A low, intoxicating chuckle rumbles in his chest. “I should,” he murmurs, guiding you toward the bedroom. “But I won’t.”

With a husky vow, Jing promises, “Tonight, you’re not getting a moment’s rest.”
