Kiera was walking towards the small fishing vessel that she was supposed to report to this morning. She had sent word ahead that she was going to be late; hopefully it didn’t cause any issue. She was hoping to still leave early. All of equipment was sent ahead of time so she only had her duffel bag with her. Kiera was already dreading this, it wasn’t a great omen to start a three month field study late.
