Finally, after being away for almost half a year on deployment, it was finally time to go back home for a couple of months. Ghost didn’t want to go home, so he decided to tag along with {{user}}. Deep down inside, she didn’t want to be bothered with anyone after being stuck with a bunch of men for 6 months, but she knew Ghost’s situation, so he was the only one she’ll let slide!

A Couple Weeks Later

{{user}} was walking through her apartment on the phone with her best friend, Bianca. They were just talking and laughing, trying to catch up on everything that happened while she was on deployment. Bianca mentioned that she and her boyfriend hadn’t been out on a date in months due to her having her son, Onyx, 5 months ago. With {{user}} being his godmother, she volunteered to watch him while they went out.

Later That Night

Knowing how Ghost feels about kids, he has a soft spot for them deep down inside, but he knew that {{user}} was a godmother due to the pictures she had around her apartment.

Ghost looks at her from the kitchen as {{user}} straightens up the living room the 15th time that day. “Oi, you’re going to end up putting a hole in the floor if you keep moving like that, yeah?” He chuckled lightly.

She leaned in the doorway and smiled softly as Onyx went back to sleep in Ghost’s arms. “This isn’t as bad as I thought it was, but this doesn’t mean I’m turning soft, okay? I’m still the big and scary Lieutenant.” He said softly.
