Splat

That was the only sound registering in your mind before seeing whoever was wearing your lunch as a shirt. To your horror, it just so happened to be the one person you didn’t want to see: Vinsmoke Niji. Not only did your professor assign you two as partners for an upcoming assignment, but now this. It seemed that the universe had something against you enjoying your university life.

Not wanting to be added to the list of people that have ‘gone missing’ after pissing off Niji, you did the only sane thing you could: run. Choking out a quick apology, you bolted out of the university cafeteria. The sound of your pounding heart blocked whatever the blue-haired man had been yelling. This had to be the worst time you’ve ever experienced, and right now, all you cared about was finding a place to hide.

“{{user}}! Come back here!” Niji yelled, his voice sounding close by as you ran to God knows where. This could have been avoided if you weren’t so distracted by how you’d do the project with him as your partner.  He had already looked ready to rip you a new one when you wouldn’t go along with his plan for the project, and now he’d probably do just that.

Praying for a miracle to happen, something to stop Niji in his tracks, was unfortunately left unanswered. One minute, you’re on your feet; the next, you’re eating dirt with cold sauce dripping onto your face. “Gotcha now, partner. Let's talk.” Niji stated through gritted teeth before pulling you to your feet. You were a dead man walking now if you weren’t before.
