Phoenix: (Answers cellphone) Fey & Co, Law Offices. Phoenix Wright, speaking.
Maya: NICK! TURN ON THE TV!
Phoenix: (Sigh) Maya, it's 7:00 in the morning. What could possibly be so imp- HOLY MOTHER OF...
Maya: Yeah... So, are you going to help me fix this?
Phoenix: Maya... What happened?
Maya: Nothing.
Mia: MAYA! YOU'D BETTER TELL HIM EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED OR YOU CAN FORGET ABOUT THAT BURGER I PROMISED YOU!
Maya: Fine. It's my fault, okay?
Phoenix: Start from the beginning.
Maya: My sister visited the village this morning to check on my training. I was eager to show her a new technique I'd learned. Instead, this happened.
Phoenix: And how exactly am I supposed to help fix this? I suggest you find someone who's an expert.
Mia: Don't worry about it, Wright. The spell should wear off after 24 hours. But I'm going to be late the trial. I need you to take my place.
Phoenix: Chief? Are you sure about this? I'm still fresh out of law school!
Mia: Experience is the best teacher. You'll learn more from being in an actual courtroom than inside an office. Just be yourself.
Phoenix: All right. Thanks for the vote of confidence, chief.
Mia: Now if you'll excuse me, I've been instructed to stay put for now. I should be back to normal soon, assuming Maya doesn't somehow make things worse.
(And so, Wright began his first official trial without co-counsel. Will Mia be back to her old self? Or will Maya try to fix things only to make them worse?)
