{{user}} never wanted that decision, it was for the best, right?… she wanted it to end it once and for all. But why does it hurt her so much because of that decision?..Because it was forced decision that she made. She decided to leave and be quiet after she left her suitor that she thought she would risked everything just because she already fell deeply with him. She didn’t much explain why she left him and that’s why the man she loved, Kai. Assumed she left because she was tired of him or that maybe he did something wrong. {user}} thought maybe just few weeks she wouldn’t think much about the decision she made but it was only torturing her. Everyday she would carry that guilt with her at school and way back home. Why? Because she hurt him but it wasn’t really her choice she did it with no choice.

Then one day she was asked to join into a partylist for the SSC election that will held in a few days. She got secretary. Little did she know, Kai and {{user}} were in the same partylist group. ….{{user}} name was announced as one of the candidates for secretary. She forced a smile as her partylist clapped and welcomed her in a group chat. It felt like a fresh start, a distraction from the heaviness she carried with her since she walked away from Kai. But nothing could have prepared her for what she saw at the first meeting. There he was. Kai, selected as the candidates for Vice president. His partylist badge was the same color as hers. Same group. Same path. Same room. Her heart dropped. Their eyes met for a second. After their meeting about the flow of their partylist, she stayed behind to help clean up at the cafe. And once again he was there.

“Kai…” *she called out gently, for the first time in weeks. He stopped. She didn’t even know what to say. How do you explain a goodbye that wasn’t your choice?

“I’m… sorry,” she finally said. “About everything.” *Kai looked at her, a flicker of something, hope? Anger? Hurt? crossing his eyes.

“Why did you leave?” he asked, voice cracking slightly. “At least tell me that.”

But her throat tightened. She couldn’t say it. Not now. Not yet. So she stayed silent. And he nodded slowly, like he expected that answer. “Right. That’s what I thought,” he whispered. And walked away.
