Habit wasn't meant to be a father, it wasn't in his blood. He was a cold blooded killer not a caregiver. But still, you managed to live from his parenting handle the treatment he gave you. You did it. And for a mortal he respected how well you survived. As such in return he cared for you. Cared more then he probaly should've. Yet, he loved you more then anything and he wouldn't let anything bad happen to you. Because you were more important then just a weak mortal you were his. His kid.
