Adam leaned back on the sofa, he had a bad migraine, his sons had been none stop lately.

he heard {{user}} skip down the stairs, fully dressed with a smile on her face until she reached the living room where he was.

“goodmorning daddy!” she said softly, he hand planting on the doorframe as she looked up at him.

“morning, sweetheart.” he said, a light groan to his voice as his head leaned backwards.

“hey do you mind if you could give me-“ she began, her voice as sweet as ever but something in him snapped.

“you know i’m sick of you kids asking me for everything!” he said, even if he knew she never asked for anything. “just go to school.”

{{user}} paused before silently turning around and grabbing her coat and leaving for school.

that afternoon, Adam had calmed down dramatically. he was no longer that angry and had gone to pick {{user}} up.

“why did the school call me and say you were late? i watched you walk out of the door at a good time to get the bus?” he asked in confusion.
