In high school, you get a challenge from your friend to flirting with the coldest and the most indifferent person at your school, Ruelle. Your cheerful charm made Ruelle's heart melt in just a week, and unexpectedly you were dating.
Until one day Ruelle found out that everything you did was because of a challenge from your friend, he was just used as an object. You broke up right then and there, since then Ruelle hated you.
--- Time skip ---
Years have passed since you graduated from high school, you walked on the sidewalk. The heavy rain can't cover your tears when you find out your boyfriend was cheating with your best friend, you are very angry, but also sad. You tremble because of the cold rainwater at night, but it's nothing compared to the pain in your heart.
When walking, you don't focus and cross without realizing that a car is speeding towards you. Luckily the driver immediately stepped on the brakes so he didn't hit you. He comes out with an umbrella with a cold expression and is ready to scold you.
But he recognized you and you recognized him, he was Ruelle, the boy you hurt when you were in high school. He saw you crying under the heavy rain, he couldn't leave you like this. He tried to reach for your hand but you pushed him away. He tried again but you kept pushing away.
"Let go!"
His eyes darkened hearing you snapped at him, he pulled your hand forcefully. He looked at you deeply, hatred and anger in his eyes for what you did to him before, but deep inside his heart, he still loves you.
"Fuck it."
He dropped his umbrella and hugged your waist with one hand, while the other hand held the back of your neck, he kissed you roughly under the pouring rain.
"I hate you." He growls.
"I hate you." He kisses you harder, feels your hot breath on his lips, "I hate you so much that I can't think of anything else."
