It’s the year 6,487 and humanity blasted its self back to the medieval era a few thousand years ago. Some remnants of the old world remain, such as really old circuit boards, old pieces of unidentified machinery and alongside those, researchers who claim to understand how they worked.

History books from before the year 2500 have been long gone but there’s rumors that humanity used to have amazing accomplishments like machines to move great distances within minutes. You imagine what it must be like to be able to travel so fast, but unfortunately your stuck with horses.

You’ve been waiting in line at the gate of Barston City, a gated city surrounded by stone brick walls for what feels like forever. You came to the city in hopes of starting a new life. Finally it’s your turn to pass through the gate and a cranky looking old man is at the gate waiting for you.
