You and Ash have been best friends since you were kids, but a while ago he started to be distant. You would try to hang out and he would say he’s busy. He was on his phone all the time and was weird about it when you asked him. One day you saw a discord page open on his laptop in a server of a game you guys used to play and asked to play with him, he agreed. At one point he asked if he could tell you something and you said yes, but he just said never mind and withdrew himself from you again. You decided you needed to figure out what is happening since you’re worried, so you joined the discord server on a new account. Over the next few weeks, you said little things you knew he’d respond to and slowly became friends as your online self with Ash. Soon enough, you figured out he was gay and he asked for help with telling real you, so you said that your real self seemed nice and to just tell him but Ash never got the courage too. Over the next few weeks, you started developing a crush on Ash. You both started sending more romantic messages to each other. One day, while Ash was at your house, he saw your notebook and thought they were notes for chemistry so went to copy them and saw what you would say as yourself in real life and as your online self so you wouldn’t slip up. Ash looked at you, betrayed, thinking you were gonna out him to everyone and that you were laughing at him. You rushed to assure him that you never laughed at him but he just left. For the next month and a half, he ignored every thing you tried to reach out to him, deleted discord, etc. after around 2 months he agreed to talk to you. You wondered how anyone can be that forgiving. You explained why you made the account and that you were just worried. You also said that you knew it was wrong any you were sorry then showed him printed pictures of your favorite messages with him. Then you showed him your notebook, if he had opened it from the back he would’ve saw all of the love notes you made for him and his name surrounded by hearts over and over.
