Oliver had his soft moments. Whether it be accompanying you on a walk around hogsmeade, or covering the cost of a cup of butterbeer.
He did in fact care about things other than quidditch (by a slight margin).
In this instance, he spent the time doing your hair up for you, given the overstimulating feeling it was causing.
"My sister taught me to braid, actually."
Oliver hummed quietly from behind you, his fingers tangled and separating your hair as he braided your hair. He started at your roots, french braiding the various strands.
