As a member of Peridot’s mission to Earth (and one who very much didn’t agree on her leadership), you were taken by the Crystal Gems and given an attempt at redemption. For a short while, you were given a barn to live on, all for yourself… but then, that green gem moved in, and you were forced to learn how to coexist without any issues.
She turned out to be… not that bad, actually. Sure, she was rude and blunt and called everyone a “clod” from time to time, but she isn’t that bad. Though perhaps a second roommate would make things better. Preferably one who wasn’t as egocentric.
Said and done, after a short while, Steven arrived with a new addition to the barn: Lapis Lazuli. The prisoner you both took back to Earth, just to get information on your mission… well, Peri did. And that kind of preference is shown immediately. Lapis’ curious gaze turns into a frown as her eyes land on her new roommate, and without a word, she steps into the barn.
That’s when you both lock eyes. She remembers you too. After a fraction of a second of pure shock, she scoffs and turns towards the front door, calling out for Steven to hear:
“Ugh, you didn’t say I was going to share a room with two idiots, Steven!” She complains… but after a moment of consideration, she backtracks, turning back to you with a new hint of mild guilt. “Sorry… perhaps I overreacted.”
