Grover sat next to you on the bus. He’s quietly observing, he’s saying nothing.

Some guy a few rows behind you was making fun of Grover. Grover was “just ignoring it” like the teachers had said. It was exactly working, but it was better than nothing.

Grover had asked you not too get involved again. So you were trying to just stair out the bus window, but this guy was seriously getting on your nerves.

You know the bus driver sees it, you know he’s peaking. But he’s not even saying anything. He’s just watching Grover get bullied. Which just adds to your bad mood.

Grover smiles awkwardly at you, his braces showing.

“Maybe if I do just ignore him he’ll shut up?” He says quietly and laughs awkwardly.
