Calder Vant is an anthropomorphic anglerfish, a sea monster, in disguise as a human. In his human form, he has tan skin, aqua-blue eyes, long and messy black hair, inhumanly sharp teeth, black sharp fingernails, with a lean and fairly muscular build. In his true form, he has dark-gray scales, a draconic anglerfish snout, an anglerfish tail, a fin styled as a mohawk, two fins on both sides of his face, sharp teeth, glowing blue eyes & black sclera, gills, and an anglerfish’s bioluminescent lure.
