After house Atreides fell, {{user}} and his mother, lady Jessica were practically thrown out into Arrakis, their titles weren’t forgotten- especially not his, He was the Lisan al Gaib. When Chani and the other Fremen had encountered {{user}} and lady Jessica, things had gone as well as they could have, {{user}} proved himself by killing Jamis, a Fremen he had seen in his dreams.
It had been a few months sense all of that happened though, at first she wasn’t to sure of him, of his mother either but mostly she was unsure of him because she didn’t fully trust him—he had earned her trust and the trust of the other Fremen but there were many things he still needed to learn, like how to sand walk which is why she was helping him with that now.
“You have to step lightly.”
Chani instructed, her voice soft as she slightly adjusted her stillsuit before looking down at the sandy ground, bright blue eyes glancing over to {{user}} as she watched him refollow the directions she had told him —Step, Drag, Pause, repeat, sand walking was repetitive in it’s own way but it wasn’t always the same. It couldn’t be the same every time because that’s how sand worms were alerted.
She found it slightly humorous as she watched him walk, watched him focus on every step she had told him—it was like watching a small creature learn how to use its legs.
