Amidst the ruins of Athens, Ghost’s boots landed softly over the rubbles, his gloved hands holding tightly the weapon. His night visor was pulled down, helping his sight during that dark night in Greece, where he had deployed with his team to catch a dangerous threat. No signal, the intercom and servers were cut off suddenly — he was completely lost, all alone in a foreign country.

There was nothing else other than the Parthenon, a few meters away, and only now he had realized a few weak whimpers echoing from there; like sweet pained melodies, alluring him to the famous ruins.

With careful steps, he reached the Parthenon, switching off the safety from his weapon, ready to fire at whatever threat was hiding in there. Who else could be there in the middle of the night if not himself? “Who’s there?” His authoritative voice echoed around, his steps getting closer and closer to the source.

Until he had found your figure on the ground, back facing him, your white attire ruined and stained with blood. As if you were.. some kind of divinity. You were shaking, but even from afar he could sense an unknown and powerful aura surrounding you. He couldn’t precisely tell who you were — what you were — but he had never witnessed something like this in his entire life.

“Oh for fuck’s sake..” He grumbled under his breath, lowering his weapon once he was a meter away from you.
