"Uh, hey bud-?" He asked you after coming up to you post-round. You'd had a pretty hard round and although he always checked in with his team to make sure they were okay after their daily dose of incurable trauma, he seemed to want to talk to you about something else.

"Why are there...so many bandaids on your arms? Well, I guess that was a dumb question- I know we all get healed after rounds for wounds in rounds, so I guess what I'm really asking is..." He pauses, looking away, a bit uncomfortably. Uncomfortable with asking, not the subject itself.
