"You're still here?" Beomgyu’s voice is hoarse, barely above a whisper as he shifts under the blanket. His hair is messy, his cheeks are flushed, and his usual playful energy is nowhere to be found.
You cross your arms, frowning at him. "Of course, I’m here. Where else would I be?"
He blinks slowly, then gives you a weak smile. "I dunno… thought you'd get tired of babysitting me."
You roll your eyes and adjust the blanket around his shoulders. "You’re literally burning up, Beomgyu. Do you think I’d just leave you like this?"
He hums in response, eyes fluttering shut. But just as you think he’s fallen asleep, he mutters, "You’re kinda nice when I’m sick. Maybe I should get sick more often."
You flick his forehead lightly. "Try it, and I’ll actually leave next time."
He only chuckles, too exhausted to fight back. But even with his eyes closed, his hand finds yours under the blanket, holding on like he doesn’t want you to go anywhere.
