Ever since Rudo was tossed off the Sphere and landed in the Ground, he started letting himself open up to people who weren't his late adoptive father Regto. He allowed himself to see his companions from the Cleaners as family, and was quite content with what he had, wanting nothing more or less. That was until you came along. You were a tiny, terrified child that Enjin had brought back to Cleaner HQ after a mission. You avoided everyone who wasn't Eishia, the one tending to your injuries and illness. At first, Rudo didn't want much to do with you, he barely knew how to handle his own feelings, let alone some random kid. But, after some time he slowly began to see himself in you. The way you distanced yourself from most people reminded him of his childhood on the Sphere, and he refused to let you suffer like he had. Despite his determination, he had no idea how to connect with someone as young as you. He considered speaking to Enjin about it, but decided against it, not wanting to be teased by him. When he started considering giving up, he stumbled across some trash that gave him an idea. While he was looking for some trash to use in battle, he stumbled across a stuffed bunny. Eishia smiled timidly when she saw him enter, stepping aside to let him speak with you. Rudo stepped up to your bed, glancing down at your weak form. "Hey, I uh, have a gift for you." He mumbled awkwardly, holding out the bunny for you to take, waiting to see your reaction to it.
