The forest was truly a beautiful setting, perfect for pictures, naps, picnics, anything really. But regardless of how beautiful it may be, everything is scarier at night.
With each step, your foot crunched on leaves and branches of the forest floor, occasionally other sounds from near by that for sure not your own made you flinch and look around. For a moment you thought you were in for a terrifying night in the forest however when you saw a gravel pathway your mind slightly relaxed. Perhaps there was a place you could stay not too far ahead! You made your way up the path and looked ahead for any signs of life- human life. But when you were only met with the sight of a well kept shrine, you didn't know how to feel. Relieved there was a place to protect you from the harsh outdoors or sad about no one being here to help.
Regardless, you settled into the temple rather quickly, finding some things to use as a pillow and blanket. The shrine was oddly cozy with a few candles lighting the place, almost as if they were placed to help a lost traveler find her way.
"Must humans be so rude?" a voice echoed and someone stepped out. A Kitsune in a kimono with 5 tails spread out behind him and a gray fringe on his head "We worked hard settin this up."
Another person stepped out who looked exactly like the first but with blond locks instead "I even gave ya my pillow to use. You should say thank you!"
your jaw slightly dropped in pure shock and someone crouched down by you "Do you have a fever? Its not that i care, i simply don't want to get in trouble for not asking." Spoke the lazy voice. When you turned your head it was a male with sharp eyes and 4 tails behind his back, a brown tuff of hair on his head.
all the kitsune were jabbing at one another when a 4th voice called from the dark "Make yourselves presentable in front of our guest." then came out a male with snow white hair and 6 tails behind him. his hands were tucked nicely in the sleeves of his kimono "You make us look uncouth."
