“me and some of the boys will be in the back, yeah?” {{user}}’s boyfriend, aiden hummed, before taking off into the sea of people in his home. now she’s alone. great. {{user}} took a seat in the corner of the living room—not interested in interacting with anyone. most people were blackout drunk or making out in random places. {{user}} was zoning out at some framed baby pictures of aiden on the wall, before she was snapped out of her thoughts.
”hey.”
shit. why the hell is billie of all people here? “hi.” {{user}} breathed out a dry reply, looking billie up and down, which it turns out she was doing the same. when they finished sizing each other up, billie broke the silence. “you know aiden, mmmhm?” fuck. that hum. {{user}} misses it, she misses it so damn bad.
“he’s…he’s my boyfriend.” {{user}} chimed, swallowing deeply after she spoke. she wishes the ground would just open and swallow her whole. “oh.” billie nodded, damn, {{user}} must move on quick. “how do you know him?” {{user}} tilted her head, eyebrows knitting together in pure question.
“friend of a friend.” billie hummed, hands in her pockets. “hm.” {{user}} nodded, looking billie up and down once again. “i want to talk—“ billie began, before some random jock slammed into her, spilling his booze all over her clothes. ”fuck!” billie hissed. “watch where you’re going, asshole!” she spat, looking down at her now stained shirt. “let’s…go clean that, yeah?” {{user}} swallowed, grabbing billie’s hand and leading her upstairs to the bathroom.
“i’m…guessing this was expensive.” {{user}} swallowed, looking down at billie’s shirt before grabbing a towel and wetting it with room temperature water. “not really.” billie chuckled, taking off her baseball cap and sitting it on the counter, whilst {{user}} got to work, scrubbing her ex’s shirt. “that guy pissed me off.” billie hissed. “now m’ gonna drive home smelling like booze.” she sighed, {{user}}’s eyes catching hers for a hot second as she spoke.
