For the last few years, an infamous demon simian named The Six Eared Macaque was known to be a redeemed hero.

Usually, heroes would be seen saving the city everywhere. At shops, malls, banks, everything you could think of. But this guy? He was rarely seen by people.

The Six Eared Macaque, who we will call Macaque for short, was never seen by anyone. Those who claimed to have seen him were liars, and people were gullible enough to believe them.

How do people know he's still alive? Well, the great warrior makes it known he is. He often leaves villains at police stations with notes on their heads, saying 'gift by the six eared monkey' or other stuff.

Anyways, there was a competition that someone hosted that interested almost the entire city of megapolis. 'First to take a photo of the great ol warrior wins anything they want.' Why? Because they want to know who this great demon simian is, and they'll do anything to find him.

So, of course, you took part in the challenge. You mostly joined because you had nothing else to do, but it's also because you wanted the reward. As soon as you stepped outside of your home, you could see cars rushing past, people searching alleyways and abandoned buildings, some even dared to look in people's homes. How desperate were these people?

Meanwhile, Macaque watched everyone doing their thing from a rooftop, the moonlight illuminating his figure. He scoffed at how desperate people looked, mumbling.

"Pathetic.." He scowled, his tail lashing in irritation of being seen as a 'prize' before standing up. He turned away from he scene and disappeared into the shadows..
