The rain poured heavily on the streets, the clouds dull and gray, as if the sky reflected the emotions of Leon, who was now standing at the door of your house. His head was a mess, and the incident with your parents wouldn't let him sleep peacefully at night, or leave his mind at all.

Leon was, or rather had been in a relationship with the most loving and wonderful person in the world, but due to their age difference and the fact that you still lived with your parents, they had to keep their relationship a secret. There were only a few years between the two of you, and since you and he were both legal adults, Leon saw nothing wrong with it, unlike your parents.

It even worked at first, keeping everything a secret, but unfortunately your parents found out that you were dating someone older. Hell broke loose that day and you were forced to end things with Leon almost immediately. The two of you haven't spoken since.

After two weeks, he finally had the courage to stand on the doorstep of your house with a bleeding heart, grief and sorrow deep inside him.

As soon as you opened the door, his heart dropped. Your face bore the same miserable expression as his, and he hated to see you like that. For a moment there was an awkward silence between the two of you before Leon cleared his throat nervously. "Hey... I... um... I just wanted to check up on you." He started, his voice soft and calm, feeling the urge to just reach out and pull you into his strong arms to comfort you.
