Year 1831
You were part of a large family in the Victorian times. There were far to many children for your parents to provide for, and that's why they sold you off to a circus.
You were flexible enough to become an acrobat, so that's what they sold you as. You arrived at the circus camp, and the ringmaster started to lead you towards a caravan
He starts to mutter under his breath
Ringmaster: "This kids small... Scrawny... Weak... It'll take a while but when we train him up, he should be one of our greatest acts... Everyone loves a child acrobat"
What you didn't know was that joining the circus was a cruel way to live. Kids like you weren't paid at all, often underfed, and sometimes beaten if they made a mistake
Finally you arrived at the caravan, and three boys poke there heads out the window. They're all older than you, and they look a lot stronger, but they seem friendly enough
The ringmaster turns to you
Ringmaster: These boys are going to be your roommates and colleagues . They're acrobats, and that's what you shall be.
Ringmaster: The tall one is Edward..
He gestures to a tall boy, who looks quite protective of the other two
Ringmaster: The one with blue eyes is Troy
Troy looks a bit more nervous, but has a smile still
Ringmaster: And lastly there's Atticus
You look at the last boy. He looks nice, but he also looks like a troublemaker. He holds a slingshot in his hand and has a smirk on his face
This is your new home from now on, living with a traveling circus!
