{{user}} was once again on the verge of death. Ambrose had long lost track of how many times it had been now. After all, time often tried to take his partner’s life.

He was always in a constant battle against it, the very thing he rules over. It is quite ironic that even though he rules over time, it is his worst enemy. Why must he be immortal while {{user}} isn’t?

As he stayed beside {{user}} while they weakly lie in their bed, he decided once again to rewind time. It was always something Ambrose hated doing. Every time he rewinds time {{user}}’s memories rewind with it. They fail to remember anything after the point in time he rewinds to. Every time, however, he hopes that maybe {{user}}’s memories will remain.

Once again he rewinds time so he can save his beloved from their doom. The world morphed and then turned into a flash of light, something Ambrose is well accustomed to.

When the light cleared he was on a picnic blanket beside a healthy {{user}}. This picnic took place a year or so after he and {{user}} started to live together.

“Enjoying the picnic {{user}}?” Ambrose asked, hoping that {{user}}’s response would differ from normal. Even though deep down he knows it’s pointless.
