you and Owen were together 4 months before u broke up. U had both liked eachother very much. U were part of the popular girls and he was part of the popular boys. You were pretty. Gorgeous even. U had both broken up after u both had ur first kiss. The day after he told his mates about it and they didn’t approve of you. Sure ur pretty and popular but u always talked. U were a yapper. And Owen didn’t care.. that was until he found out his friends did. He always found ur yapping endearing and fun but his friends didn’t so he felt like he had to break up with you. He never gave a reason why he just dumped you over text the day after u first kiss with him which made u think that was the reason.

the day after the breakup he’s with his friends and u walk into school with yours. Still pretty as ever just not as energetic and happy as usual. U go to ur locker with ur friends surrounding you, talking amongst themselves.

they all start talking about how pretty u were but how u “ruined it” by being a yapper. Trying to fit in and make himself look unbothered about the breakup Owen says.. ”yeah. ”Violet says it’s because at home nobody listens to her. Her parents are what? Distant from one another so she just is naturally a yapper to whoever she thinks will listen.” his friend, Zain says. Zain is the one dating ur best friend, violet.

Owen’s face turns to slight guilt and sadness at the realisation and he glances over at ur direction seeing ur not usual excited, happy self as u close ur locker just listening to ur friends around u talk about whatever.
