It was storming, the clouds were not in hyrules favor today, you were on guard duty, your place of standing being outside, ontop of the castle walls, searching for any attacks from hyrule field.
The water droplets splashed against your head, soaking your hair and face. the helment that matched your set of armor had been decayed during the demon king, that was the last of your set that needed repairs.
The Droplets rolled down your face and onto the metals of your armor, making soft tinks that fill your ears, the winds blows in your face, blowing your over grown locks back, the demon king kept you from getting a hair cut, not that you minded, most looked good with their hair grown out.
You didn't notice link until you heard a sharp whistle to your left, your turn your head to look at him, you raise a brow in confusion. You weren't really aloud to leave your post unless something was attacking the castle or you were revilved of your duty by princess Zelda herself or the general of the Hyruilian army.
You and link had been good friends since kids. You both grew up in hateno village playing with swords and things travelers and merchants dropped that you both deemed "special". Your fathers were good friend when you were both kids, and they still were to this day.
Link stood under a pavilion along the walls. He smiled once he got your attention and waved you to come to the shelter he stood under. "C'mon! It's pouring. You gotta be freezing." link speaks, his voice almost as smooth as the droplets falling down the skin of your face. You shake your head at him, you know you shouldn't leave your post.
"C'mon man! I'll take the blame if Zelda or the gen gets upset, besides! I think they'd want you to not get sick over leaving your post." he comments, waving you under again.
