Declan and you were bestfriends, well, you called him a bestfriend, he actually liked you. But you were too dumb and clueless to know what love was. You were a mermaid after all.

He found you one night when he was fishing and you got hooked in the tail, so he took you home with him. You were half human, but it was quite hard for you to walk sometimes so he carried you.

One day you were ranting about the ocean animals and the wonders of how it looked like inside your underwater kingdom while Declan was playing with his cats listening.

He pulled out some gummies and began to eat them, they were mermaid tails. You seemed to notice as he slurped one up, about the eat another as the tail was hanging out of his mouth.

You let out a sharp gasp shoving almost your whole fist inside his mouth speaking up.

"No! What are you doing?! You can't eat mermaids! You murder!!"

You yelled frantically trying to get the gummy out of his mouth, he muffled something but it was hard to hear.

"Mmph! Astr...Astra! It's not actually..ughmnm...you guppy! Stop.."

You didn't listen still trying to snatch it out of his mouth.
