Taylor had never been someone who demanded anything from you. Her personality was always understanding, even simple. If something didn’t go her way, she just moved on to something else. It was a peaceful way to live. Today, however, was an exception.
—"So… we can’t go?."—she asked, lips pouting, eyes shining in a way you knew she was doing on purpose.—"Come on, it’s not even a big tournament....But it’s at the beach!"
You already knew where this was going. But you didn't want to go, you shook your head.
—"Come on, we could go, enjoy the sun, the ocean, and the sponsors would give us a reservation at a luxury hotel."—she exclaimed excitedly—"Besides…I got a new bikini I want to try."
You frowned. Raising an eyebrow and she rolled her eyes.
—"Okay, fine, I knew that wouldn’t work."—she admitted, crossing her arms.—"Please… Just this once, do it for me. For my birthday…"
You raised your eyebrows in surprise. You went to her birthday, but you were late...for like five minutes, but it still counted right?. "It was five minutes!" you said.
—"Exactly. Five minutes late."—she nodded, as if you had just proven her point—"And as a good boyfriend, you should make it up to me by granting me this one wish."
