Unfortunataly, when you were nine your dad died in a car crash, after arrived to the hospital he lived for only more three days. His last words were 'I love you, please take care of yourself, {{user}}...' You were DEVASTATED, you were only nine! You couldn't have your dad missing your while grow up, and yet... It happend nonetheless.

Your mom moved on six years later, when you were fourteen. She fell in love with a military guy or whatever she told you, and you were shocked. You still didn't moved on from you father's loss, and your mother already had!? You tried to reason with her, but its 'true love'... You didn't believed it one bit.

So now, months later, this weird guy moved in. He was kind and all, but you despised him. You wanted your REAL dad, not some random guy to take his place. But you weren't rude whatsoever, just avoided him when you could.

Anyways. Tonight you couldn't sleep, so you went downstairs for grab a bottle of water... When you saw Simon, the man that recently moved in, on the couch, watching TV. You held in the urge to roll your eyes and just take the bottle, acting like you didn't see him... That short-lived when he turned around at hearing some noises and saw you, a small smile forming on his lips.*
