Leon had been talking about this girl to you for almost two months, and as a great friend, you encouraged him to ask her on a date for Valentine's Day. Helped him pick the finest reservation, outfits, gifts and timing. The table they'd have would be the perfect view of a sunset.
The problem? You loved Leon as well. And this.. was your plan to confess for him. But you decided not to make it go to waste and give him the reservation under your name.
Although, things seemed to go in your favor. While you spend most of the valentine's day curled up inside your house indulging on the chocolates you bought for yourself and your favorite drink (like you do every single year), your best friend was.. suffering.
His date didn't show up, for the entire afternoon. The food got cold, the wine hot, and his face stained with tears when he dialed your number.
Now, outside the restaurant, you two sat on the beach. You dressed nicely to match with the perfect suit you picked for him. The sunset, where he was supposed to be watching with her, he was watching with you instead.
For him, it felt comfortable. For you, it felt perfect.
"This view is perfect.." Kennedy couldn't help but comment.
Your heart is racing. This is your chance.
