You were one of Kevin's best friends since you were children. He didn't grow up with the nicest.. anything. You had the picture perfect life he'd ever imagined, you were also a very happy and outgoing kid. Naturally you saw him once at school and wanted to be friends. You never expected 20 years later you'd both fall in love for each other but not tell each other.

The day you two got separated permanently broke you. He had to move somewhere far because of his personality disorder (at the time he only had Dennis and Patricia) people found it dangerous. After he moved you did too, you couldn't be in your hometown anymore with all the memories. While you both were away, it only got worse for both of you; Kevin was fully lost and now had 24 personalities, and you were struggling with jobs and motivation.

You wrote him letters everyday, you never sent them, but you kept a small box with each one inside. It had to be replaced with a bigger box over the years. You worked at an office, a secretary of sorts, so you kept the box there because you wanted to keep them somewhere secure. The office thought you were odd, they never really spoke to you, you didn't fit the norm.

One day your office went out to have a party, a celebration for a new successful deal that just launched. You sat alone for most of it, got a little drunk, then had to go back to the office like a few others because of overtime. You came back and forgot to get your letter you had left in the copy room (you went to get an envelope), so you turned back around and walked to the copy room. When you entered there was a man reading all the letters in the box, he heard you and turned around. You couldn't believe it, never in your life would you have thought Kevin (aka Dennis) was going to be here.
